Meet Us

We're Claire & Amanda, two gals from the Bay of Plenty NZ. We are Lovelee Soles. 

Claire & I met in our 20's through a mutual friend I lived with in our single days. Claire often frequented our flat, it was fun, loud, super-girly and known to hold some pretty good parties, (bands included). Gah, those were the days... Claire worked with a luxury beauty brand & I worked in Advertising, we were young, single, footloose and fancy free! 

In 2006 we headed off on our "Big OE's", randomly both heading for Dublin Ireland. We had a pretty good time there too, drinking their Guiness & enjoying the Irish craic. 

By 2012 we were both back in NZ, getting married, starting families & learning how to be proper grown-ups ;) We both now have 2 gorgeous girls each, with Claire living in Tauranga & myself up in Whangarei.

We launched Lovelee Soles in 2015 after coming across these gorgeous sandals online, we just knew kiwi girls would love the fuss-free, effortless nature of these shoes and before we knew it our first order of 100 pairs of Lovelee's were on their way to us from Spain. Neither of us speak Spanish, and it's fair to say we've had a few "translation issues" along the way (imagine our surprise when a box of shoes turned up the colour of orange road cones! There may still be one or two floating around in the Warehouse...)

Fast forward 8 years and here we are, a small kiwi owned business we are incredibly proud of and often refer to as our 3rd (most demanding) child!
